This hepatic diet contains specifically adapted levels of high-quality proteins. The combination of these proteins helps to support liver function.

ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic has a purposely low copper content to help minimize the accumulation of copper in your cat’s liver. Thanks to its high energy content, ROYAL CANIN® Hepatic helps to reduce the volume of your cat’s meals and decrease their intestinal load while providing the energy they need.

• Acute hepatitis without hepatic encephalopathy*

• Growth, gestation/lactation

Feeding duration may vary depending on the pathology. Initially, a feeding duration of up to 6 months is advised but for chronic conditions, lifelong feeding may be necessary.

In order to decrease postprandial hepatic load, it is recommended to divide the daily intake into several small meals.
