This Acana Prairie Poultry uses a unique WHOLEPREY™ principle in its recipe, basing its food around the nutritional needs of adult dogs and using the prey of ancestral wild dogs as its inspiration. For this reason, Acana Prairie Poultry is rich in turkey, chicken and nest eggs of the finest quality, including a 50% meat content, of which 1/3 is fresh. Low-GI oats are used for carbohydrates instead of high-GI wheat in this recipe, which can help to keep blood sugars level. 50% fruits, vegetables and plant extracts go into this food, ensuring your dog receives all necessary minerals, vitamins and fibre for a well-round nutritional profile.
